Dr Sophie Reeves is a registered clinical and forensic psychologist and Board approved supervisor with family therapy training. She has 22 years’ experience working as a psychologist in adult and adolescent forensic and clinical settings. These include the Adolescent Forensic Mental Health Service (Royal Children’s Hospital), Forensicare’s Problem Behaviour Program for 14 years, Disability Justice, Department of Justice and Community Safety, Headspace, the Children’s Court Clinic and private practice for many years.
Dr Reeves adopts a neutral, curious, supportive approach in her treatment with individuals and typically works within cognitive-behavioural, mindfulness, ACT and systemic frameworks, tailored to the individual’s needs. Dr Reeves’ expertise lies in assisting adults and adolescents with anxiety and depression, relationship difficulties, those displaying problematic behaviour, including aggression, and family therapy.
